Both Coach and Dooney Bourke are very OLD BRANDS,[url=http://nikefree.mobilejeti.com]billige nike free[/url], and they were at one time considered upperclass brands so the only people who could afford them were old/older ladies.
So while the teens who have the bags that these brands make for TEENS may not recognize that bag that old lady has as a coach or D IT IS COACH OR D I see old women and even more so middle aged women (like in their 40s) carry them almost as often as I see teenagers wearing them. (I live in Northern California for most of the year and Southern California for the part of the summer)
Honestly, because they have become so popular, they also become less cooland a little bit trashy since EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER (and their grandma) has one, or at least a knockoff.
Top of the line brands have become so commonplace that which one you pick doesn really matter. I concern myself more with color and style. I also STRONGLY suggest that if you are going to get an authentic designer bag, that you get one that is LEATHER and not cloth.
Cloth will get super dirty fast, is cheaper (in quality), and is not worth the investment. With cloth you tend to be paying more for the brand and the trendyness. With leather you are paying for the purse, quality and style. A cloth bag you will throw away in a year or two. Leather you can keep and use forever, even give to your daughter because it will be supersupercool as a vintage bag.
Remember Trends are Passing, Style if Forever. If you are going to spend anything over 100 bucks, buy style. Also, there a brand called My Flat in London! Really pretty =]].
